Revoke access on the platform.
If you connected Goosebumps to a social platform, you can revoke our access directly from that platform. This stops us from being able to post on your behalf.
- Facebook / Instagram — Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find Goosebumps (app name may appear as Clipping) → Remove.
- TikTok — Profile → Settings and Privacy → Security & Login → Manage connected apps → Remove.
- YouTube / Google — Google Account → Third-party apps with account access → Remove.
- X — Settings and Privacy → Security and Account Access → Apps and Sessions → Revoke.
- Snapchat — Settings → Connected Apps → Remove.
Revoking on the platform invalidates the stored token. Goosebumps clears it from our systems within seven days.
Request full account deletion.
To delete your Goosebumps account and all associated data — uploaded content, processed clips, captions, analytics, and connection records — email contact@gsbmps.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Goosebumps account.
- Confirmation that you want your account and all associated data deleted.
We'll confirm receipt within three business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law (for example, accounting records for paid transactions).
What gets deleted.
- Your account record and API key.
- All connected platform tokens and connection metadata.
- Videos, clips, captions, thumbnails, and any other content you uploaded or generated through the Service.
- Analytics and scheduling history associated with your account.
- Event logs identifying you personally.
What does not get deleted.
- Posts already published to third-party platforms. A post we published on your behalf lives on that platform's servers. You control those posts directly — visit the platform to edit or delete them.
- Aggregated, anonymized metrics that cannot be tied back to you.
- Records we are legally required to retain (such as invoices for paid plans) for the minimum retention period required by law.
Automated deletion callback.
Goosebumps supports Meta's automated data-deletion request flow. If you request deletion of your Goosebumps data from your Facebook account settings, Meta sends a signed deletion request to our callback endpoint. We process the request and respond with a confirmation code.
